Downed trees and power lines were reported down after a line of severe thunderstorms moved through Central Illinois Sunday.
The Ameren Outage Map, as of 9:20 p.m. Sunday reported 1,432 customers without power in Peoria County, 1,377 in Tazewell County and 489 in Knox County. Numerous scattered power outages were also reported in the Ameren Illinois service area.
Wind gusts of 60 mph were reported in Henry and Morton with 50 mph wind gusts reported in Germantown Hills and Metamora.
The National Weather Service reported a house was damaged around High and 8th Streets in Roanoke. Two-to-three-inch diameter tree limbs were reported down in Morton. A 24-inch diameter tree was reported down on Niles and Partridge Streets in Metamora along with a power pole down near Prairie and Dee-Mack Roads.
A power line was reported down at Summit and Washington road in Tazewell County, not tree-related.
Scanner traffic indicated a tree fell at a house in the 2600 block of Latrobe Street in South Peoria taking the power line down with it that was attached from the tree to the power pole.
