Peoria firefighters were called to 920 W. Millman just after 6:30 p.m. Monday, finding a storage shed engulfed in flames.
The fire spread to siding on the back of a nearby apartment building. The fire was out in about 10 minutes.
Battalion Chief Rick Morgan credits the quick action of firefighters in preventing the blaze from spreading to the interior of the building.
No one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
