A Peoria Public School Board member has resigned.
During Monday’s meeting, school board member Bob Davison-Aviles announced his resignation.
According to the Peoria Federation of Teachers Local 780, Davison-Aviles has accepted a job at Bradley University that will require more of his time and energy.
The teachers’ union added that Davison-Aviles has been an asset to the board and has always communicated effectively. They wished him well at Bradley.
Davison-Aviles’ resignation is effective immediately.
