Chase Bennett, 23, has been identified as the Pekin man who barricaded himself inside a store on Derby Street before fleeing the scene on Friday afternoon.
Bennett had reportedly entered Half Vaped at 1020 Derby Street around one Friday afternoon and barricaded himself inside. Police later searched the building and did not find him.
Bennett was charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery, Criminal Trespass to Property and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
