A body was recovered from Rice Lake in Fulton County Sunday morning.
The Copperas Creek Fire Department and Dive Team were called to lake off U.S. Route 24 Saturday afternoon on reports of someone in the water.
No one was found before the search was suspended Saturday night. Crews returned to the scene at 7 a.m. Sunday with additional departments assisting in the search. Officials say a body was recovered about an hour and a half after the search resumed.
The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of family.
