Several Peoria businesses suffered damage in a fire early Wednesday morning.
Officials say fire broke out at 435 S. Western Avenue around 4:15 a.m.
When crews arrived, they found thick heavy smoke coming from the roof.
Firefighters had to breach the glass front door to gain access to the building, finding heavy fire and smoke inside.
Four businesses in the building sustained extensive damage before it was extinguished.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No one was injured.
