It looks like the Peoria area could see severe storms Monday night.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins says a strong cold front will collide with warm, humid and unstable air, possibly triggering severe thunderstorms during the dinner hour.
A few tornadoes are possible along with damaging winds of 65 miles per hour or stronger, marble sized hail or larger, and locally heavy down pours.
A FEW
Collins says the storm line will be around 4 p.m. in Western Illinois, 6 p.m. along the Illinois River, including the Peoria metro area, and around 8 p.m. along I-55.
