The Ameren Illinois Outage Map showed just over 1,260 customers were without power in the Peoria area as of 7 a.m. Saturday.
Outages were reported in Peoria, Washington, Pekin, Chillicothe, Hopedale, Brimfield and Princeville.
Ameren crews are working to restore power to their customers following strong thunderstorms that rolled through the Peoria area Friday night that also caused some flooding.
