PEORIA, Ill. — A chilly rain Wednesday afternoon will change to a wintry mix by evening, then change over to snow through Thursday morning, according to news partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins.
The Peoria metro area should see a couple of inches of snow accumulation through Thursday. Strong northwest winds of 15-20 miles per hour will also cause visibility problems, according to Collins.
“Mother Nature is giving us a trick on Halloween with snow showers, strong winds, and temperatures around 30 (degrees) with wind chills in the teens at trick-or-treat time,” Collins said.
