PEORIA, Ill. — Everything you need for Thanksgiving, except the turkey.
Peoria’s Riverfront Market returns this weekend with the 2nd annual Thanksgiving Market at Dozer Park on Saturday.
Down River Farm’s Evan Berry told WMBD’s Greg and Dan that he has plenty of fresh produce to bring to the event.
“I’m finishing up digging up all my potatoes. So, we’ll have potatoes, sweet potatoes, some turnips, radishes, winter squash and a lot of greens too,” Berry said.
Sharon Gramm with the Peoria Riverfront Association said 40 vendors are signed up for Saturday’s market at Dozer Park.
“There’ll be more than just fresh veggies. We will have hot coffee, cheesecakes, breads, cheese, our cheese vendor will be there. Jams, meats, eggs,” Gramm said.
The Thanksgiving Market is being held on the concourse from 9-1.
