PEORIA, Ill. — Bradley University issued a campus safety alert Tuesday night after a report of a student being robbed at gun point not far from campus.
Bradley officials said BU Police were called just before 7:30 p.m. to the 900 block of N. Cooper Street, near the intersection with W. Laura Avenue.
Two male suspects reportedly approached the student in a backyard, displayed a handgun, took the victim’s property, then fled the scene, according to an email sent to Bradley students.
The only descriptions of the suspects were that they were males wearing dark hoodies.
The incident remained under investigation.
