PEORIA, Ill. — If you bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket for Monday’s midday drawing, check your numbers.
A $400,000 winning ticket was sold in Peoria at the Marathon gas station, located in the 3700 block of University Ave., matching all five numbers – 02 – 08- 16 – 25 – 29 – to win the jackpot.
The retailer receives a bonus of $4,000, or 1% of the prize, for selling the winning ticket.
Lottery prizes can be claimed at five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield and Fairview Heights.
Winners have a year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
