PEORIA, Ill. — Unlike last weekend’s storm, the Peoria area will likely see snow first Friday afternoon and evening, then rain.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins said about three inches of heavy, wet snow on Friday will change to heavy rain Saturday morning, then back to snow Saturday afternoon with about another inch accumulation.
“Once the system departs, we’ll feel the coldest air of the season with highs in the teens and single digit lows on Sunday, and a rapid freeze of wet surfaces,” Collins said.
