PEORIA, Ill. — One of the suspects of an armed robbery that occurred Thursday night near Bradley’s campus has been arrested.
Public Information Officer Amy Dotson says that the 16-year-old was identified during the investigation as one of the two male suspects that entered a Bradley student’s occupied vehicle Thursday night around 10:30 p.m. and rummaged the contents inside.
At least one of the suspects was armed with a gun.
The suspect was arrested Saturday, January 18, 2020, when members of the PPD Target Offender Unit located and apprehended the 16-year-old without incident. He was arrested for Armed Robbery.
Bradley University Police said in a press release on Friday that surveillance video and victim reports had made it clear that the recent criminal activity on campus was being committed by the same people.
The incident and similar incidents around Bradley’s campus are still under investigation.
Due to the suspect’s age, no further information will be released about his arrest.
