PEORIA, Ill. — After three nights of accumulating snow, the main roads in Peoria Saturday morning are in good shape.
Sie Maroon with Peoria Public Works says the roadways are wet.
“Everything on the primary arterial routes throughout the city of Peoria are just wet. There are some slush spots in some occasional areas,” Maroon said.
The temperatures remained in the mid to lower 30’s, helping the roadways.
“Last week they crushed us when it got cold and windy and it froze everything down. This week, the road temperatures are staying up with the air temperatures and they’ll melt things off faster than I would have anticipated,” Maroon said.
