PEORIA, Ill. — Seven years after shutting its doors, the renovated Four Points by Sheraton opens for business Tuesday.
The hotel, located at 500 Hamilton Boulevard, closed in 2013.
After years of renovations, it now becomes downtown Peoria’s largest hotel with nine floors, 323 rooms and 12 event spaces.
Matt Grafton, Director of New Openings for Hawkeye Hotels, says in a release,”We recognize the important role this hotel plays in Peoria’s economy and specifically for regional tourism.”
“The Four Points by Sheraton Peoria boasts the most hotel rooms in Peoria and will play an integral role in not only the economic opportunity but also with the convenience of our current and future clients as they choose Peoria as a destination,” said J.D. Dalfonso, President/CEO of the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We stand ready to work with the Four Points upon their opening and look forward to filling those rooms with convention goers and travelers to the Peoria region.”
A new restaurant on the property, Craft309 Kitchen + Bar, also opens for business Tuesday.
