PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night in the 900 Block of Johnson Street.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert just after 10 p.m.
“Additionally, police received a call about a man shot in the leg at that location (Johnson Mini Mart),” Dotson said.
The man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
