PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria has a strong connection to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, that stretches back decades.
WMBD sister media outlet 104.9 The Wolf has raised money for the kids at St. Jude’s for 30 years. They’ll wrap up their annual radiothon for St. Jude’s on Friday.
104.9 The Wolf personality Dr. Chris Michaels told WMBD’s Greg and Dan, there’s an easy way to give called “Partners-In-Hope”. With a $20 pledge, you receive a Country Cares t-shirt.
“Whenever I wear my shirt, because I have three of these from the last three years when they started it, I make sure that if I’m wearing a coat, the coat is open…because I want people to see it, and I want people to ask me about it,” Dr. Chris said.
