PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria Metro area has been gearing up since the weekend for another round of winter weather.
News Partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins said it could end up another winter wonderland.
“Short term, rain will continue [Monday night], mix with snow [Tuesday] morning then change to snow in
afternoon and continue until Wednesday morning,” he said.
Areas along and east of the river including Peoria can expect four to six inches and strong northeast winds gusting to 30 miles an hour will make travel difficult.”
A winter storm watch was scheduled to take effect on Tuesday 5 P.M.
