Peoria Police Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said 25-year-old Jamere Laster and 19-year-old Dearian Patterson were suspects in the case. They were wanted for aggravated discharge of a firearm.
Both were considered to be armed and dangerous.

Harwood said Gilliam suffered multiple gunshots to his upper body and therefore died of a hemorrrhage.
Further details were forthcoming regarding how close the shooter was and the caliber of weapon the shooter used.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said 31-year-old Jevon Gilliam was pronounced dead Saturday morning around 12:30 after being shot nearly an hour prior at the Peoria One Stop in the 3200 block of SW Adams.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.

PEORIA, Ill. โ Peoria Police have arrested Marvin Sanders, 31, who was one of two men shot late Friday night outside the Peoria One Stop gas station in the area of S.W. Adams and S. Easton Avenue.
Officers were called to the scene by three ShotSpotter alerts just before 11:30 p.m. 24 rounds were fired.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said the other man was pronounced dead at a local hospital. His name has not been released.
Sanders was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said Sanders is being held at the Peoria County Jail for first-degree murder.
Police are still investigating the incident.
