PEORIA, Ill. — After a video surfaced last week of country music star Morgan Wallen using a racial slur, he has been dropped from the Tailgate N’ Tallboys lineup on June 3, 2021.
The video was released on Feb. 2, and Wallen has since posted an apology to his Twitter.
The Louisville Slugger Sports Complex, where the concerts will be held, released the following statement on their website regarding the incident.
The owner of Tailgate N’ Tallboys, Wayne Klein, has told WMBD News Wallen is still planned to be in Peoria, even if its not at Louisville Slugger.
