PEORIA, Ill. – A North Pekin man is facing federal child pornography-related charges.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Larry Daniel Saal, 53, was indicted September 21 on counts of Solicitation of a Minor, and Distribution of Child Pornography.
Federal prosecutors say Saal solicited material containing a minor engaging in a sex act, and also allegedly distributed child porn througout Tazewell County and elsewhere in the U.S. Central Illinois district. They say police in Washington aided in the investigation.
Saal is in U.S. Marshalls custody, and could face at least 20 years in prison if convicted.
