WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. — The National Weather Service in Lincoln, Illinois has confirmed three tornadoes in Woodford County from severe storms on Monday, October 11.
The first tornado occurred in a field 3 miles north of Roanoke at 4:45 pm. The second was reported a few miles southeast of Washburn at 4:55 pm. That twister caused damage to out-buildings on a farm, according to news partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins.
The third tornado was located in a field southwest of El Paso at 5:52 pm.
Tornadoes were also reported near Florid in Putnam County and another near Mendota in LaSalle County.
