HANNA CITY, Ill. – A fire to a garage in Hanna City early Monday morning caused an estimated $200,000 in damage.
That’s according to the Logan-Trivoli Fire Department. Crews from there and several other departments were called to the 500 block of North Main in Hanna City just after midnight.
Assistant Chief Chris Matzke says one garage was completely engulfed in flames, and that the fire had caused damage to another garage and two homes.
One local resident tying to put the fire out with a garden hose was injured. No one else was hurt.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Logan-Trivoli, Bartonville, Limestone,Timber Hollis, West Peoria and Elmwood Fire Departments all responded to the fire.
