PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria County Coroner’s Office has released the identities of two fatal shooting victims from separate incidents barely into the start of the new year, while police continue to search for a man who is considered a suspect in both slayings.
Authorities responded to 2028 SW Adams St. around 2:01 a.m. Saturday on a report of a man and woman shot. The woman, identified by the coroner’s office as Daniela Jackson, 33, was found unconscious and not breathing. Despite life saving measures by officers, Jackson was pronounced dead the scene.
An autopsy demonstrated Jackson suffered multiple gunshot wounds to her body and likely died instantly.
Officers then responded to a report of a man shot around 3:56 a.m. Saturday at 517 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. As they arrived, officers found an adult man and adult woman, both with apparent gunshot wounds.
The woman, Bridget Ross, 35, was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center unresponsive and not breathing. She was pronounced dead in the trauma room just over 30 minutes after the incident.
The Peoria County coroner says autopsy results on Ross are pending.
Peoria Police have identified Robert White, 27, (pictured) as a suspect in both incidents. He is considered armed and dangerous, and if you see him, you’re urged to call police immediately.
Another shooting incident occurred just before 1 a.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of West Oakcrest. An adult male victim from that incident was taken to a hospital with a serious injury from a single gunshot wound.
