WASHINGTON, Ill. – A three-apartment house in Washington is a loss following a fire Tuesday morning.
Washington Fire Chief Brett Brown tells our news partner 25 News fire broke out in the 100 block of North High Street around 8:30 a.m., and crews remained on scene for several hours.
Brown says there was an estimated $200,000 in damage.
He says everyone got out of the house safely, and the Red Cross is providing those people with assistance.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
