PEORIA, Ill. — A house fire that kept Peoria crews busy both over last weekend and on Monday — is now reported to have been arson — both times.
Flames originally sparked at the home Saturday.
The home — situated in the area of West Nowland Avenue and North Sheridan Road in Peoria.
Today, 25 News reports it got confirmation from Assistant Fire Chief Shawn Sollberger that the both the Monday and Saturday fires were determined to have been set intentionally.
The small wood-frame home was demolished the same day flames were finally extinguished on Monday.
