PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police say no vehicles were stolen from a BMW dealership on W. Pioneer Parkway, after it was burglarized early Thursday morning.
Earlier, Illinois State Police said they’d helped the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office with vehicles stolen out of the Peoria area.
PPD Spokesperson Semone Roth told 25 News that keys were stolen from the dealership, but the cars were not.
Roth said the suspects fled the scene in several BMW SUV’s that were later determined to be stolen from other jurisdictions.
Just before 7 a.m., officers located an unoccupied BMW in the dealership parking lot. That vehicle was reportedly stolen from Springfield.
The case is being investigated by multiple agencies.
