PEORIA, Ill. – A police chase has resulted in a juvenile being arrested.
Peoria Police say it started around 1:30 Monday afternoon with a ShotSpotter alert on West McClure and officers seeing a vehicle leaving the area.
The 15-year-old male was later caught, allegedly with a gun in an allegedly stolen vehicle, but not before an accident involving several squad cars, and the juvenile fleeing on foot.
The accident shut down traffic on University near Main Street for awhile.
The teen faces weapons, Obstructing Identification, and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle charges, among others.
