PEORIA, Ill. — Local gas prices have dropped a bit.
According to AAA, the price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in the Peoria/Pekin metro area was $4.48 Monday. A week ago, the average price was $4.52.
Illinois’ average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $4.49.
Diesel fuel hit a new high on Monday in the Peoria/Pekin area at $4.97 a gallon.
AAA said the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is currently $4.24.
