PEORIA, Ill. — A Peoria neighborhood was the scene of a shooting and then a car crash Thursday night.
Peoria Public Information Officer Semone Roth said shots were fired at a house, and someone driving by panicked, and crashed into another vehicle just after 8 p.m. near the intersection of E. Corrington and N. Wisconsin Avenues.
Police said no one was injured in the shooting, and there were no serious injuries in the crash.
PPD and firefighters on-scene blocked off the intersection with crime scene tape for an investigation.
More details are expected Friday from police.
