PEORIA, Ill. – A popular recreation facility is apparently going to be on the auction block.
The Peoria Forest Hill Development Company says the Landmark Recreation Center is now listed for a “direct auction” — meaning, the property is now being marketed to targeted buyers on a national level.
This, after 25 News says no qualified buyers have turned up after months of localized and selective marketing.
The facility has a well-used bowling alley, a E-sports facility, a movie theater, and other items.
The starting bid for the property — currently with Jim Maloof Realtors — starts at $1.25 million.
