CHICAGO, Ill. — Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White has reportedly tested negative for COVID-19 following an isolation period related to the illness.
An updated news release issued today says following the negative COVID test, the 88-year-old White has returned to work at the James R. Thompson Center in downtown Chicago.
White tested positive for the virus on August 24th, last Wednesday.
His office says White experienced mild symptoms and worked from home during his period of quarantine.
White is double vaccinated and twice boosted.
