PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria County Sheriff says deputies have arrested the man wanted for allegedly opening fire outside a West Peoria bar last month.
Sheriff Chris Watkins says Brandon Eckwood was taken into custody early Monday morning during a traffic stop in Peoria in the area of Krause and Griswold.
Eckwood faces three counts of Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Fleeing from Police (from a previous encounter), and other traffic-related charges.
The shooting happened early on March 13 outside KG’s Bar and Grill on W. Farmington Road.
Three people suffered gunshot wounds to their legs. Their injuries were non-life-threatening.
