PEORIA, Ill. — Central Illinois developer Kim Blickenstaff’s KDB Group is selling several local properties he renovated, then scaled back on, laying off workers in January.
A pair of realtor websites show Blickenstaff’s Sankoty Lakes Resort in Spring Bay, The Scottish Rite Theatre on NE Perry Avenue in downtown Peoria and The Betty Jayne Brimmer Center for the Performing Arts in Peoria Heights are all on the market.
25 News reports that Keller Williams Premier Realty listed the all of the properties.
Sankoty Lakes is listed for $10.9 million, The Scottish Rite Theatre at $8.5 million, and The Betty Jayne Brimmer Center is valued at $2.4 million.
“This is a turnkey fully furnished property with all of the luxuries one would expect,” the Sankoty Lakes listing said.
“A true outdoor adventure retreat with all of the comforts. The Sankoty Lakes Resort is over 200 acres with three man-made lakes, a mile-long trout stream, 20 glamping tents (Glamorous Camping), 2 ADA Cabins, 21 RV sites, beaches, riverfront and much more,” the listing said.
The Scottish Rite Theatre’s listing said the following:
A majestic historical turnkey masterpiece. A Central Illinois landmark in downtown Peoria, Illinois. The Scottish Rite Theatre is beautifully renovated, with state-of-the-art sound/light systems and new mechanicals, yet keeping the craftsmanship and lost arts in every detail… complete with flying buttresses, stunningly restored stained glass windows, a massive pipe organ, terrazzo flooring and of course the beautiful theatre.”
