PEORIA, Ill. — A man told police he was carjacked at gunpoint Monday night on Peoria’s west side.
Peoria Police said they were called around 7:45 p.m. to W. Melrose Place, near N. Sterling Avenue.
The alleged victim said three males, one of them armed, took his vehicle and drove off.
Peoria Police said the man was not injured, and they were not able to find the stolen vehicle during a search of the area.
PPD did have any further information about the vehicle or the suspects.
