PEORIA, Ill. – There was a lot of bark, but little bite to severe weather Thursday afternoon in central Illinois.
Multiple tornado warnings were issued in Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, and Fulton Counties. But there are no reports of any touchdowns.
There were multiple reports of hail throughout the area.
In Cuba, reports of half-dollar and quarter-sized hail fell.
Golf ball-sized hail fell just west of Smithfield.
Hail also fell in Canton, East Peoria, Peoria Heights, and Metamora.
