PEORIA, Ill. – Everyone got out safely before a fire reported in Peoria’s East Bluff could get in.
Peoria Fire crews went to a home on East Hillcrest, not far from Prospect Road, around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.
The fire started on a deck and reached the home’s exterior.
Officials say they put the fire out quickly before it could get in the home.
As much as $35,000 in damage was done. No word on an official cause, other than it being ruled unintentional.
