PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police responded to three back to back ShotSpotter alerts Tuesday night in the area of W. Marquette and W. Antoinette.
The first alert came from W. Marquette Avenue around 11:30 p.m., with 12 rounds fired.
The second alert came from W. Antoinette with four rounds fired. And, the third alert came from W. Marquette again with one shot fired.
Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says officers found a man who’d been shot on W. Marquette. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made, and police are still investigating.
