WASHINGTON, D.C. – One man is dead and nine others are injured, including a ten-year-old., after shootings early Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
According to FOX TV station WTTG, a man was pronounced dead at a local hospital following a shooting at the Catholic University of America campus in Washington.
The shooting happened prior to 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time, School officials say the man was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
A drive-by shooting happened hours before that around 1:00 a.m. Police say nine people were injured in that shooting, including two juveniles, ages nine and 17. WTTG reports all were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
In total, WTTG reports there were seven different shootings late Tuesday night and early Wednesday in the D.C. area.
