PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say there were about ten different incidents over the weekend involving guns or gunfire.
One of them involved a 14-year-old boy being hurt on North Great Oak Sunday night.
Several involved SpotSpotter alerts.
The one with the most serious injuries happened around 12:30 Sunday morning at the City Scape Apartment complex. A man was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
A shooting on North University around 2:30 Saturday morning involved 48 rounds being fired, but a man with several gunshot wounds doesn’t have life-threatening injuries.
Overall, several arrests were made.
