UPDATE: CEFCU reports debit card problems that are now fixed. Here’s what we know

PEORIA, Ill. – Members of one local credit union are having some problems again making transactions.

CEFCU says some customers Monday have had debit card transactions declined at the point of sale.

The credit union says they’re working on the problem and will update their social media when the problem is fixed. They did so around 2:30 p.m. Monday, confirming the problem is now solved.

This is the second time on a Monday CEFCU has reported problems. An unexpected technical glitch took down ATM’s for a time last Monday – a problem that has since been fixed.
