PEORIA, Ill. – More juveniles are getting busted for adult-sized crimes in Peoria – this time for a suspected burglary.
Peoria Police say they were conducting a special detail early Saturday near Parkside Drive and Institute Place where a number of such burglaries have been occurring.
They say they saw some juveniles burglarizing a vehicle on Institute, but they ran away when approached.
Four juveniles were arrested a short time later. The two 17-year-olds and 14- and 15-year-olds each face five counts of Burglary, along with Resisting Police, and for curfew violations, and were taken into juvenile custody.
