PEORIA, Ill. – With temperatures climbing into the 90s this week, the City of Peoria is reminding residents that there are cooling centers available to them.
The lobby of the Peoria Police Department, at 600 SW Adams Street, is open from 9 am-5 pm.
Peoria Fire Stations are also available from 7 am until 10 p.m.
In the event of fire-related emergencies, visitors to the fire stations will be asked to step out while staff is on a call.
