PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police were called to the area of E. Illinois and N. California Avenues Wednesday morning, on reports of a person shot.
Peoria Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says when officers arrived around 7:55 a.m., they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
PPD has no suspects. An investigation is underway.
