PEORIA, Ill. – Two Peorians are in custody, one of whom is a juvenile, after police say they were caught in a stolen vehicle early Friday morning.
Peoria Police say they tried to pull over a vehicle reported stolen near Thrush and Sheridan around 12:30 a.m., but it ended up fleeing at a high rate of speed.
It later crashed near Sheridan and Ellis, causing the two people inside to run on foot, but they were later arrested.
Quandarius Jones, 21, and a 17-year-old male remain in custody on charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and Resisting Arrest.
