NEW YORK (FOX News) – The host of the “Tonight Show” is facing allegations of a toxic work environment by show staffers.
FOX News reports an expose by “Rolling Stone” magazine accused Jimmy Fallon of “erratic behavior and outbursts.” Some staffers claimed the workplace was bad to the point they left for their mental health. The report cites two current and 14 former employees.
NBC in a statement says issues had been raised by employees, and those issues have been investigated and action taken where needed. The statement also encourages employees to bring up any concerns so they can be addressed.
Fallon and showrunner, Chris Miller, addressed the claims on a Zoom call with current staffers. Employees recall Fallon apologizing, saying that he felt bad about embarrassing family and friends and that he did not intend to create a toxic workplace.
Fallon has been host of the “Tonight Show” since 2014.
