EAST NANTMEAL, Pa. – Pennsylvania authorities early Tuesday morning said fugitive Danelo Cavalcante, who remains on the run after he escaped prison nearly two weeks ago, is now armed.
Pennsylvania State Police have also urged local residents not to approach Cavalcante, and to call 911 if they see him.
Fox News reports the update came hours after dozens of police vehicles responded to a call of a break-in and shots fired in East Nantmeal, Pennsylvania, the area where Cavalcante was thought to be hiding.
Cavalcante was previously convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend in 2021.
