PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County grand jury has filed charges against a Peoria man who allegedly shot and injured a security guard at Big Al’s downtown almost a month ago.
The grand jury Tuesday indicted Tywahnn Tillman, 35, with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
Prosecutors claim Tillman, after being kicked out of the club during the early morning hours of October 23, got a gun, returned inside, and opened fire, seriously injuring a security guard and injuring another person.
The bullet is believed to have gone through the guard’s head and hit the second person.
Tillman remains wanted after allegedly fleeing the scene.
