PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man is going to federal prison for allegedly distributing fentanyl in the area.
The U.S. Attorney says Martin McLain, 44, was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison Friday after pleading guilty in April to counts of Distribution of a Mixture Containing Fentanyl, and Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute.
McLain allegedly sold the substance containing both fentanyl and heroin in the area between last December and last January.
He could have faced up to 20 years in prison.
